Resources and progression

The honest caveat is Swamp at just 5.5% — crypt iron exists but the hunting ground is narrower than on Odin or ChristKing, so scout and mark crypts greedily. In exchange you get 13.3% Mountain, one of the better silver endowments in the group, and 13.1% Mistlands for when the campaign reaches the soft-tissue era. Black Forest at 9.1% keeps copper and tin comfortably local.

The boss route

Eikthyr ~1.3 km, the Elder ~2.8 km, Bonemass ~3.8 km, Moder ~5.7 km, Yagluth ~6.8 km — a textbook staircase with no wild outliers. If you're teaching friends the campaign rhythm, this is the kind of curve you want: every boss one reasonable step beyond the last.

Traders and shopping

Haldor at ~945 m changes the shape of the early game. Megingjord before or shortly after Eikthyr is realistic, and suddenly those copper hauls are one-trip jobs instead of cart puzzles. The Bog Witch and Hildir aren't separately marked in our preview, but the community lists this seed among the trader-friendly starts.

Base spots and who it suits

With Mountain that prominent, think long-term when placing the main hall: somewhere between the Meadows heart and the Mountain shoulder shortens the later silver commute. Suits solo players who value trader access, and co-op groups whose schedules favor few, efficient sessions — everything here is walkable, so no evening is lost to logistics.
