Seed analysis: playing xtraNL55hQ

SuperCraft files xtraNL55hQ under dense Mistlands — a late-game speedrun seed for Queen-rush groups. Our preview endorses the theme with Mountain 14.3%, Plains 13.5%, Mistlands 9.4% and a swamp-strong 9.2%, then finds the routing quirks that give the seed its personality: Eikthyr at ~1.1 km (the closest first altar of the new batch), and an endgame fold where Fader previews at ~7.7 km — closer than Yagluth (~8.2 km) and the Queen (~9.6 km). The Ashlands boss gatecrashes the party; plan accordingly.

Spawn and the first days

The opening is friendly for a late-game seed: the first altar at ~1.1 km means day one can end with a boss kill, and the swamp share means crypt iron starts early and stays strong. The Mistlands identity is a promise about the destination, not the departure — the early game is meadows-and-swamp standard, and the seed's true character emerges once the wishbone is on. Crews planning Queen-rush categories should treat the first week as a formality to be optimized hard.

Resources and progression

The sheet funds its own ambition: Mountain 14.3% and Plains 13.5% are top-tier rows for silver and black metal, Swamp 9.2% keeps iron flowing, and Mistlands 9.4% is respectable rather than dominant — the 'dense' reputation refers to how early and how centrally the mist arrives in the campaign's arc rather than raw acreage. Deep North at 6.4% and Black Forest 6.5% are the lean rows. 51 previewed dungeons is the dependable maximum; nothing here starves a prepared crew.

The boss route

Eikthyr ~1.1 km, the Elder ~3.1 km, Bonemass ~4.1 km, Moder ~5.2 km — a normal-good front — and then the fold: Fader ~7.7 km, Yagluth ~8.2 km, Queen ~9.6 km. For Queen-rush planners, that means the Ashlands boss is a potential early target on mountain-era gear, and the traditional Yagluth-then-Queen order inverts into a choose-your-finale. Speedrun categories that permit routing freedom will have a field day; linear crews should simply know the map wants a non-chronological endgame.

Traders and shopping

Haldor previews at ~1.8 km — second-closest of the new boss batch. On a seed built for optimized runs, the shopping circuit matters: Megingjord before the first crypt push, meads stacked aggressively, and the fishing rod as the food-tech hedge. The trader's proximity means one early errand covers the entire speedrun's needs — exactly the logistics profile a record attempt wants.

Base spots and who it suits

Build the hub where swamp meets mountain — the seed's two workhorse biomes — and treat the Mistlands approach as the project the whole base exists to serve: portal at the mist's edge, wisp-light logistics, eitr refinery staging. Suits Queen-rush categories, late-game alt characters, and servers whose population has already finished the campaign once and wants the rematch fast. If you want the mist era with more acreage and a slower burn, BloodEagle is the continent alternative; if you want the rush aimed at the plains instead, BloodEagle's Yagluth pull is the twin trick.

Community coverage: this seed's reputation is documented in the roundup lists at SuperCraft . Community claims were cross-checked against those write-ups before our own preview — including where the 1.0 generation disagrees with older maps.

The preview facts and distances quoted above are produced by our own approximate engine at build time — the same seed always draws the same map here, but treat every number as a rough guide, not in-game data. World generation can shift between game versions, and a seed documented before 1.0 may lay out differently after the update.
